Camp Jeanne d'Arc is excited to provide a secure and easy-to-use service for parents, friends, and alumnae to stay in touch with campers this summer! We have have partnered with Bunk1.com to create safe, password-protected bulletin boards, photo galleries and newsletters. This service requires each person to register/sign in so that camp knows who is looking to gain access to photos and messages, and can approve eligible candidates.

The service is free, with the exception of ordering prints of pictures, or sending “Bunk Notes” which are one-way emails from parents to campers .

Here's how Bunk1 works:

Go to Bunk1 by clicking the Click here to go directly to Bunk1 link or the Bunk1 image at the top of this page. A link to Bunk1 is also available from our homepage.
Click on "First Time Users, Register Now.”
Disregard the pre-approval code box, and fill out the necessary information on this page (please sign in as the appropriate user type). Read the Bunk1 Terms of Use agreement and check the box if you’d like to continue.
This part of the registration helps camp know who is accessing the bulletin boards and allows us to follow up and check on the registration if need be. Please note that you do not have to fill out the fields marked "optional." Bunk1 has agreed not to use or sell any of your information under their privacy clause. Click continue.
On this page, you will see the option to "Purchase Additional Bunk Note Credits." This feature is meant for parents who wish to send their campers a letter via email during the summer. Click "none" or the appropriate amount, depending on the service you would like. Click continue.
On this page, bypass the info and click "Skip" on the bottom if you do not wish to sign in other people as members.
Click continue on this page.
At this point, you should receive a notice telling you that your registration is pending for approval. Camp will approve you as quickly as possible, so keep checking back by signing into the bulletin board link with your new username and password. Once you've been accepted, you will have access and be able to post, view and reply to messages on the community board. During the summer you will also be able to access the photos and newsletters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How do I view pictures? Follow the instructions above, except, after registering, simply sign in and click on the Photo Gallery button. Photos are kept in folders found on the left side of the page below the words “Image Folders”. Click on any folder to see the pictures within that folder. You can even purchase prints! There is no cost to view pictures.
How do I send a Bunk Note (one-way email) to my camper? Follow the instructions above, except, after registering, simply sign in and click on the Bunk Notes button. Enter your camper’s name, select the correct cabin, type your message, and hit the “Send” button.
Why do I have to pay to send Bunk Notes (one-way email)? Each morning, the Bunk Notes system bundles and sorts the messages for us to print out and distribute to campers. It also protects us from computer viruses and allows us to easily manage these emails. Your payment helps us cover the cost of the system, necessary supplies, labor, and, most importantly, frees us to do what we do best – be with your kids! Bunk Note credits cost $1 each and are purchased in packs of various sizes.
Can other relatives use these services? Certainly. Once you have set up your account, you will be able to invite relatives and friends to access these services.
What do I do if I lose my username and password? You can get it online by going to www.Bunk1.com and clicking on the link "Lost Your Password?" (to the left of the page below the sign in button). You will receive an email with your username and password within a few minutes.
